The name

Look closely at the tree.

It isn't a tree at all. It's seven hands — different shades, different sizes, every one of them reaching — and there's a heart right where they meet.

The name didn't come from a branding meeting. It came from a drawing: founder Britni Kent's son drew his mom a tree with seven branches — one for each of the seven kids in their family. That drawing became the name, and the name became the promise.

A family home, run by a family, for a family of seven residents. In a home this small, nobody is a room number. Everyone is known, needed, and loved.

Seven is not a limitation. Seven is the point.

What changes when a home stays home-sized?

Most assisted living happens at buildings with dozens — sometimes hundreds — of beds. They serve a purpose. But some people need something that big buildings can't offer, no matter how hard the good people inside them try. Seven Trees will live in a ranch-style Johnstown home the founders chose for exactly this purpose — open, single-level, built for living, not for wings.

Who's behind this

Founded by a nurse who lives here.

Seven Trees is being built by Britni Kent — sixteen years as a CNA before earning her nursing license, a mom of seven, and a Johnstown neighbor building this in the same community she serves. And she's not doing it alone: the founding care team includes a registered nurse and a certified med aide. This isn't an out-of-town operator opening location #47. It's a neighbor building one home, and building it right.
